Additional
Information:
This
cheek bone is actually from
a plate on each
side of the cheek of
a
fossil
mammal
and has
numerous open cells texture. This bone
was legally obtained from Alaskan Natives near the Bering Sea. The
Cheek Bone used in
this
knife has
nice texture, a nice patina due to exposure to the elements for
thousands of years, and lots of cracks and crevices for character.
The Giraffe bones I use are from the leg bones of the Giraffe. These bones come
from South Africa and were legally obtained from harvested animals. Giraffe bones
have a nice patina and provides a nice
contrast to the
Fossil
Cheek
Bone.
