Additional Information: Elk Velvet Antler is the cartilaginous antler in a precalcified stage or in layman's terms, the whole antler of a deer which has velvety skin (e.g. hair attached) on the exterior. Velvet antler is used in traditional Chinese medicine for a growth tonic for children, for using to treat adults with arthritis and related disorders, and for using as a calcium deficiency and geriatric therapies. A knife made with elk velvet antler is extremely unique and rare. This antler was harvested in Wyoming.

Most camels today are domesticated and they provide meat, milk, hair, and bones. The leg bones are often used for making knife handle. These leg bones are slightly more dense than cow leg bones and polish to a beautiful luster. bony is a super dense black wood that will sink in water and provides a nice contrast to the Velvet Elk Antler.
