Additional
Information:
The Elk Antler used in the handle was obtained from a 5-point
"rag bull" who was a couple of years old. This antler was
harvested in southeastern Wyoming and has nice texture with two-tone
colors.
Pheasant wood is a hardwood that grows in South East Asia and Hawaii.
The wood has black and golden figure similar to a
pheasant’s tail feathers. This wood reflects light nicely and is
extremely rare-- even more than ebony. The Pheasant Wood I use in
my knives comes from Maui and is from a tree that was cut down
because of road construction.
This
particular
piece
provides
a
nice
contrast
to
the
Elk
Antler.
