Information:
Sapele is an African tree whose wood was used in propeller blades of
German Zeppelins. This particular piece of wood is "Quilted"
which means it has 3-D pillows throughout.
The Box Elder Burl used in this folder is from a tree that was harvested because of road construction in Idaho. The Box Elder Burl is light colored and provides a nice contrast to the darker Quilted Sapele. |
