Additional
Information:
The elk antlers came from two different sources. The elk
antler used in the
handle was harvested in Southeastern Wyoming and is from a 5-point "rag bull" who was a
couple of years old.
The elk
antler used in the bolsters was found lying on the ground in New
Mexico and was
from a 4-point bull elk who "shed" his antlers. This
particular piece has been darkened to provide a nice contrast.
