Additional Information: The Elk Antler used in the handle was obtained from a 5-point "rag bull" who was a couple of years old. This antler was harvested in southeastern Wyoming and has nice texture with two-tone colors.

Honduras Rosewood is a very hard and heavy wood with multi red and brown colors. Honduras Rosewood has a distinctive rose fragrance. This wood has been sought after hundreds of years ago from furniture and musical instrument makers. Honduras Rosewood sometimes produces a burl in which the grain is radically deformed because of some stress or damage and makes small birdseye knots. This burl wood is highly figured and is sliced into veneers and thus accounts for much of its rarity and price. The Honduras Rosewood Burl that I use has been sustainably harvested. This piece of Rosewood Burl provides a nice contrast to the Elk Antler.
