Additional Information: Himalayan ram is obviously from a ram (male)  sheep living in the Himalayans. This horn has lots and lots of character because of its large amount of radial striations on the exterior part of the horn. The Himalayan Ram Horn I used is from the interior of the horn and is beautifully polished and translucent.

The 6,000 Year Old Swamp Kauri was growing during the ice age when Woolly Mammoths were roaming and was buried by natural cataclysmic events. This Swamp Kauri is the oldest workable timber on Earth. The tree was discovered by a utility company which were preparing to install utility poles and they came across a huge Kauri tree buried in the ground in New Zealand. The tree was removed and pieces were sent for carbon-dating and these were determined to be around 6,000 years old. This particular piece of Swamp Kauri has nice swirly figure, two-tone colors, and provides a nice contrast to the Himalayan Ram Horn.
