Information:
Seismic lumber is made out of recycled wood
from furniture, flooring, and other sources. These scales have
sealed and stabilized which makes them very durable and hard. The
knife handles will not be book-matched but will have different
patterns on size of the handle. Oak is the most popular wood for woodworking. Spalted oak is oak wood that was in the process of rotting and had a bunch of fungi in the wood. The fungi makes lines (typically pen-like black lines) and results in some wild looking figure. Spalted Oak is incredibly rare and beautiful This particular piece complements the Seismic Lumber nicely. |
